My October Goals (Part I)

Successful people set goals and then break them down into steps. My overall goal this month is to get back on track with our finances, homeschooling and health.

Financial Goal: Get back on budget to maximize money available to rebuild the emergency fund.

A) Stick to our written budget by using cash only

B) Write down every expense

C) Put every extra cent we can make, squeeze or find into the emergency fund

Homeschool Goal: To introduce more structure to our day.

A) More planned lessons and activities

B) Less use of electronics (cell phones, tv and computer)

Health Goals: Get back on track

A) Eat less empty calorie foods

B) Less over eating (personal goal)

C) More daily physical activity

In a future post I’ll break down the steps even more.
